In England, Wales and Northern Ireland there are 9 qualification levels. Most qualifications have a difficulty level. The higher the level, the more difficult the qualification is.

Entry level
Each entry level qualification is available at three sub-levels – 1, 2 and 3. Entry level 3 is the most difficult out of the three.
